Sigh. So after delaying visiting there, I finally did last night, because of a reoccurrence of my elderly father's behaviour. After living here for three years and going to this service over 100 times, I can't point out a single way they've helped me in the long term. I just went in for having self harmed and feeling suicidal (something that I feel all the time but recently plan on enacting) and the interaction probably left me worse off than if I hadn't gone at all...
