Worst HOA I have ever had to deal with. They are ineffective at communication to the point of blatant hostility. They took money from our account for a bill that does not exist at our location. The inquiry and return of funds required the condo board interceding on our behalf. They mismanage funds, lose track of accounts, and are generally disinterested in managing a property. Watch your accounts like a hawk if you hire them (don’t). They literally paid thousands from our building into another building’s water account, which nearly led our water to get shut off, and took mammoth efforts to get money back (they refused to take responsibility for weeks). When we fired them, they milked our accounts one last time with unnecessary painting and landscaping. Beware!! You can’t make this up-they cut checks to the Boy Scouts from our building!!

I am a real estate agent in the DMV area and I have the best experiences with Theoharris. My father is also a property manager in Frederick, MD so I understand how difficult the job is, but TheoHarris is very responsive, reliable and professional. I have worked with multiple DC property managers in the past and I could not ask for a better management company. I would highly recommend them as they will make your transition as stress-free as possible!

Dishonest and more concerned about the developers than the homeowners they are hired to support
