Our experience with Payne Automotive has been extremely frustrating and, in our view, does not reflect the reputation the business once had under prior ownership. In October 2024, my husband delivered a 1964 Oldsmobile Starfire to Payne Automotive with a defined scope of work and an agreed estimated completion timeline of approximately eight months (May 2025). Impressed from start to finish. My family and I broke down on I88 on a Sunday. Alternator failed and required a tow. Was able to call and talk to the owner that day. I do my own repairs in most cases, but it simply wasn’t an option this time. John was great. Lifetime warranty on the alternator and installed for the price it would have cost me to purchase at the parts store. If Payne Automotive was in my home town, I probably wouldn’t do most of my own repairs. Would definitely recommend.
Great service with good prices! John does great work and got me back on the road within a day both times I’ve needed work! Highly recommend
