They made an extra effort to make me feel special How would you compare this psychiatrist to others in his/her field that you have visited? There is no comparison!
I did not feel rushed, but I had a very serious medical issue to deal with and Dr. Paulson was defensive and did not really listen to my concerns. She sits there and quietly looks at you, but she accepts phone calls while you are talking (doesn't say excuse me and step out and her staff walks in while your talking; very unprofessional). She doesn't really like to prescribe medicine (which could be good and bad). Don't let the calm voice fool you! Busy place, Dr Paulsen is very personable and appears to care. Plan on waiting as she either overbooks or the spends the extra time with anyone who needs it - I can understand that part. While the doctor does not take calls during my appointment the front desk could use some customer service training - rude and at time displaced by me being there.
