They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find. Do not use this office. Dr. Paulsen has a gift. She has a calming presence that makes you feel at ease as soon as she walks in the room. She takes her time with each patient. She listens to your concerns. She has an uncanny sense of what is bothering someone. I have known Dr. Paulsen for almost 10 years. I would recommend her to any friend or family member needing psychiatric care.
They are one of the most polite, respectful people I've ever met. I’ve been to some other psychiatrists that really rushed my appointment, but they didn’t do that here at all. I was able to take as much time as I needed. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting. The waiting room is pleasant, and your requests are always considered promptly. Dr. A. Paulsen is top in her field, you won't be disappointed.
