this was the third time having this transmission done (by 2 other shops) first one lasted 8000 miles but passed the year warranty by 3 months second one lasted around 30000 .. I made the trip to Paul's for the reputation of the builder and I'm not disappointe this truck has never shifted this good even with the origional.. I can feel a difference in the overall truck performance taking off and smooth shifting .. doesnt matter where you live its worth the trip.. and I got my truck back quick
I wanna say I brought a 4l60e that was “built” by another shop that I was having trouble with And David went through it for me and let me know exactly what was going on. Very much appreciated there’s still honest people in this world.

Had my 2002 Camaro SS with only 19,000 miles at Paul’s Tranmissions. I cannot complain at all!! Would recommend to anyone!!!
First of all let me say that I got a so called stage 2 perfomance build from another shop witch was basically a Stock transmission. Went to David and man did he do an amazing job with my trans took good care of me and my truck hands down best service anybody could ask for and by far the best customer service in the business.
David is one hell of a mechanic on these transmissions! He got my truck back in action in no time at all! Got a stage 3 build all the way down to the core from him and could not be happier! He’s someone who actually cares about his customers and takes pride in his work at the same time!
David, meant to do this earlier. The truck is running like a bat outta hell! Trans is doing great! Reasonably priced and turn around was quick.
