Dr. Wirth is an expert in the field of Moh's surgery, having been in practice 32 years. I have had multiple basal cell cancers removed using this procedure. Having been recently biopsied for a basal cell on my nose I requested a consultation to review options. Dr Wirth always makes you feel like his only patient. He has a gentle manner and answered all of my questions. There is no one I would rather have do this procedure on my nose but him. Surgery scheduled.
I was very anxious to have a MOHs procedure on my nose; Dr. Wirth took a good amount of time to explain all of my options, including non surgical options and offered me a no-pressure choice to go home & think about it. He explained the reality of scarring with surgery so I had a realistic expectation. He was honest and patient. I opted to go with the surgery & he talked me thru the entire procedure.
