Very poor “BEDSIDE MANNER”. Did not explain his diagnosis. “The pain is going to be there all the time no matter what”. He continued repeating that. Medication or therapy won’t help you he said. I do the surgery if you want. Repeatedly saying “I AM NOT PRESSURING YOU” for surgery while in fact he was. At my insistence he wrote a Therapy Order. I do not recommend him.
Dr. Paul Johnson has been my KOC spine physician for 25 years. He is very professional and also has a huge heart and cares for his patients. When he told me he would be retiring I was heartbroken and devastated on my next steps for my care. I saw him on December 12, 2024 for a final visit and advice. Dr. Paul Johnson is the BEST! He’s professional and kind but most of all he listened to me. He helped me get back to my busy, daily life pain free. He’s to the point but I really like this about him.
