Do yourself a favor and chose a home built by another builder. All.The.Water.DAMAGE!!! Don't let them talk you into the slider windows - they leak when ever it rains hard - isn't that the purpose of windows: to keep the water out?!? Also plumbers nicked a pipe in installation causing water to leak behind the wall where it couldn't be seen until it caused all kinds of hidden water damage and health issues! I just closed on my new home built by Paul yesterday, I was very impressed with the entire process from start to finish. The home turned out exactly the way I wanted and would recommend Paul, his staff, and subcontractors to anyone who was thinking about building a new home.
Just love our new home. Paul Fick builders are so easy to work with. If you want something different in your house they do not hesitate to do it. So glad we found them to build our beautiful home.
You built our home in Harrisburg about 5 years ago and as many of our friends and neighbors deal with water issues we sit with a sump pump that has never ever had to kick on despite the run off pond flooding our back yard repeatedly! Thank you for doing such a great job grading our yard and whatever other magic you did to avoid any flooding or water damage. Sincerely, The Hodge Family
In 2013 we purchased a home built by Paul Fick. In 2014, we worked with Nate from their office to finish the lower level. In 2015, we didn’t hesitate to contact them to add a fireplace upstairs. 2018 we again contacted Nate to help with plans for a two story addition. Building can be stressful at times but they’ve all been so good to work with and would highly recommend them.
Builders left a mess. Window well was disgusting and caked with mud on the inside. One of the kitchen cabinets had a panel that had to be replaced because when it was installed they didnt even use the maple. it was oak. (They were pleasant enough coming back to fix it). Throughout the years noticed things such as screws drilled through cabinets too far causing damage to the wood and trim that would just fall off the wall.
