I have really good insurance, but there’s a$25 copay. My income changed to a fixed, and I couldn’t come up with it for a while. They wouldn’t see me! I had almost died from a Septic Shock episode, so I wasn’t going for the fun of it. I guess doctors are more capitalists than healers these days. Oh well!
Dr Jo has always been thorough and professional with a very kind manner during my visits, examinations and surgery.
Contracted urinary tract infection from what I believe to be poor sanitary practices with equipment.
Was scheduled to see Dr. Jo on 5/22/18 having been referred by my primary MD due to a severe UT infection not responding to antibiotics. The appointment had already been confirmed and the day before they call me to reschedule to 6/4/18 at the earliest. This was supposed to be an urgent appointment. Guess I will have to see another doctor.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a doctor’s office. Wait hours for a 5 minute rush Dr. Visit. Doctor doesn’t know why your there on a follow-up visit. Can’t find records of prescriptions he has prescribed for you. Office staff is condescending.
I have no complaints about Dr. Jo's surgical skills. However, if you have phoned in a question it will take office staff 24 hours to return your call and then it will be when the office is closed so if you missed the call you cannot call back. There was virtually no discussion of a new recommended diet that was handed to me as I walked out of the exam room. When I called to request a 24 hour urine test no one ever responded.
Dr. Jo is always smiling and upbeat which is relaxing for me! He does very good job explaining procedures or treatments!
I hate hospitals and any invasive procedures to myself. Having said that Dr. Jo has prepared me mentally & medically, prayed with me, visited me, then performed the prostatectomy surgery. My oldest brother bragged about his prostatectomy surgery a few years ago and how he was up on his feet after only 3 weeks. Wow! I went to visit Dr. Jo the day after surgery to give him my good news. I admire, respect, and have the greatest confidence in Dr. Jo and love the spiritual atmosphere in his office. H
After moving to a new state it is refreshing to find a Dr whom I feel comfortable with. Dr. Jo makes me feel at ease and provides the same great level of care I had with my other Dr. of 12 years.
