Dr. Jo chooses your treatment without giving the range of options, totally ignoring the principle of informed consent. We found that the treatment Dr. Jo chose for my husband was definitely not the best medical choice but rather the one that made him the most money. He works alone, not in a practice that might have higher standards for patient care.

Had an appointment on June 10 at 1pm. This appointment was made last year. I got to the western office at 12:45 no one was there. Me and another patient waited 15 min. then we left. I called when I got home and was told Dr. Jo only goes to the western office twice a month., no longer every Thursday as before. I was told by the office staff I should have been called to be rescheduled. They admitted that they failed to call other patients as well. Now I have to wait another month to see the Dr. Jo. This doctor only cares about the next billable appointment. Does not take time to listen to the patient and charges a fortune for just a few moments of his time. He rushes patients through his office like a herd of cattle. My experience with this doctor is among the worst I've ever had. He also lied directly to my face about alternative options for the issue I was having. Because writing a prescription isn't a payday for the doctor. Dr Jo's office personnel has changed over the years to a non-friendly group. Wait times has increased from 20-30 minutes to 1 - 1 1/2 hours and longer waits in room waiting on Dr Jo. Dr Jo is friendly but always appears to be 'rushed and on edge'. Such a shame to see a good doctor going downhill. Office has an email link but no one ever answers questions so why is it there? Unable to use 'patient portal' but no one ever fixes problems. Dr Jo has been my doctor for 14 years and now I'm looking for a new doctor. This makes me ... read more

Dr, Jo is an excellent doctor the problem is the inefficiency of the office staff, they have canceled my appt 4 times when I spoke to them after the appt was canceled for the 3rd time they assured me that the appt would not be canceled. oh well today, the day of my appt I received a call and it was canceled once again this time because insurance would not cover the office procedure it had to be done outside of the office, they should have known since they spoke with the insurance and it had happened before. it is unfortunate... read more

Dr Jo caught my prostrate cancer very early. I had proton therapy and the cancer has ot come back in 7 years. I am very happy.

Don't waste you time here with this Dr. He performed a procedure on me that has went wrong and he will not even address the problems with me. He got paid and that is all he really cares about. I pay a 40 dollar copay and he will spend less that two minutes with you. Hate I ever went to him.
