I have seen Dr. Pascoe every 30 days since circa 2009. He is the guardian of my skin which was badly sun-damaged as a red-headed, blue-eyed, kid/teen without the smarts we have about skin health now. Be wise and protect yourself from the sun's rays and forget those gawdawful "tanning salons." But when you DO need a dermatologist, I think you would have to seek far and wide for anyone as professional, 100% of the time, as is the entire staff. REMEMBER: you skin is you biggest organ!
In 2011 I broke out in a rash that covered my entire body and was extremely itchy. I was miserable and would wake up scratching. The rash finally disappeared but the itch remained. Long story short, over a 5 year period I had seen 5 different dermatologists and had tried all kinds of lotions, potions, ointments, pills with no relief. Dr. Pascoe was my 6th dermatologist and he found the right medicine to stop the itch. I only have good things to say about him and his staff.
My first visit was billed to insurance. For my follow-up, they demanded cash before seeing the doctor. I had not yet received an EOB from my insurer or a bill from Dr. Pascoe for the first visit. Office staff had no regard for my privacy discussing this in a full waiting room. My return visit was a quick follow-up on the previous visit. I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for the 3-minute quick follow-up. In my experience, doctors that demand cash before seeing you aren't health-focused.
I started seeing Dr. Pascoe to treat acne on my jawline. I had horrible breakouts with multiple cystic pimples. Dr. Pascoe prescribed a regimen and after following it for about 3 months I do not have one single pimple. I haven't ever had skin this clear in all of my 30 years. I highly recommend Dr. Pascoe to anyone suffering from acne.
