The inside decor is very warm and intimate. I have never had an Indian Thali tray of vegetarian visible before and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Very authentic and delightful South Indian cuisine. I'm from Chennai and I haven't had such good South Indian food in LA.
Fantastic dosas, uthapams and idlis. Have been there multiple times and will go back again. Best thing is, its ~10 min away from Universal Studios. Nothing better than having an awesome meal after a long day at a theme park. Patio seating has a real "dhaba" feeling to it.
I love this place The original Paru's was in Washington DC and I ate my first masala dosa there in '82 This is the same family and this restaurant is upscale compared to the little counter with paper plates like they had in DC The food is still delicious The atmosphere is perfect I wish I lived in LA so I could eat there more often
So good! We will definitely be back. The dosas and idli were great!
