Crawfish Etouffee 5⭐️ Whole Shabang 5⭐️ Seafood Gumbo 10⭐️⭐️⭐️:) Great beer prices, amazing coleslaw (with peanuts!), and delicious oysters. Came on a Tuesday about 7pm, half price oysters, and no wait! Will return!

Well we are driving cross country and picking as we go. Let me tell you it was amazing. From the hostess to server and most of bus person it was amazing. If you have a moment stop in and definitely try blackened alligator.
I'm visiting from out of town with family. We decided to go to Parrains. (A party of 8) We waited for about 10 minutes. I called out to a server to at least take our drink order. We were ignored by the first person. I found a manager who said the server who "didn't show up would be fired". However the white family of 5 who was seated after us in the same section received drinks and their order was taken. After 30 minutes of nothing, we left for Ralph & Kacoos. #DissatisfiedCustomer

Oh my god. Where do I start? It's really hard to type this out right now because I'm so damn full lol Me and my bf found this place and I am so glad we did. Our waitress Elizabeth was so sweet and nice the whole time and suggested the fried stuffed soft shell crab to me. We started out with the char grilled oysters which were great! My bf ordered the whole shebang to try a bit of all the fried seafood and all of it was perfect! Parrain's is by far my favorite place to eat. I used to order the 1/2 & 1/2 seafood platter which is delicious, but everytime I order now I'm stuck on the corn & crab bisque soup. I've tried corn & crab bisque soups from other restaurants, but Parrain's is the BEST, bar none. The bread it comes with is the most delicious buttery & crispy donut like bread. The hushpuppies, mmmmm the best ever. I haven't found a restaurant yet that can compete with Parrain's.
Blair was excellent, very attentive to our needs. She's a keeper! Crab stuffed mushrooms were awesome, as was the white chocolate bread pudding. We'll stop there again when in Baton Rouge.
