What more can I say about the best in Baton Rouge!
First visit to Parrains. Soooooo impressed with the atmosphere an my server ( Becky). EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious. We were 12 of us they had no problem acomedating us. When I want original Cajun food this is the place I will come. ��
The food was good but for a party of 14 we had to wait an hour and 45 minutes....
The turtle Soup is great very friendly staff and stuffed mushrooms are so good just a great place to eat
The service here sucks! The attitudes from the the hostesses to management is HORRIBLE! We have had to ask for drinks at least three times because the waiter (Zachery) keeps forgetting to put the orders in. He seems very flustered to be serving a party of eight. We had two people show up unexpectedly and management acted very unreasonable and would not allow a table to be moved together. So the extra people had to sit by themselves. Plenty of food for the price & was delicious. Sat on outside patio, it was busy, but still had great service. We ordered shrimp & catfish dinner, oyster & catfish dinner, & chicken dinner. All were wonderful. Food service & atmosphere.
I've been here many times, but tonight was the best. I had the Vermillion and wife had the Ponchartrain. Service was excellant, soups, and salad were very good and the entre's rocked with flavor!
The hostess was friendly. My server was friendly, efficient, & very knowledgeable. The food was "Awesome"! The service was "Excellent" I will definitely be back!
Steaks and oysters were some of the best I've had. Will be going back.
