Great food!!! From NY and ate Gator meat and thought it was chicken!!!
The food and service were great. The restaurant was so HOT. We, along with many others, were sweating while trying to enjoy a late lunch. We were there only long enough to order and eat and left sweaty and clothes wet. I feel sorry for the staff who have to endure the heat while trying to perform their jobs in such uncomfortable conditions. To add, just how many people were served with a dash of sweat on their food???
The staff at Double Tree and the cab driver James were spot on with their recommendations and description of Parrain's. It was totally amazing, great tasty food, well priced and the best service we have experienced ever; a big thank you to Kristian G and the team for the superb southern hospitality! We can not recommend this place highly enough, if you're in Baton Rouge you're seriously missing out if you don't visit Parrain's! We will be back someday!

Best swamp margaritas. Food is fantastic as well as the service. We always stop here when we are in Baton Rouge. I feel a road trip coming on.
