I worked for Parkwood 2 years ago for a few years, and as I wrap up my career in Halifax I look back at jobs I’ve had and Parkwood was definitely one I was very grateful for. From the amazing clients, to the rewarding feeling of helping others, Parkwood taught me how to be compassionate, kind, caring and more ! The staff at Parkwood Home Care is second to none. I have used Parkwood HC services over the past four years to support my father as he transitioned into dementia care. This support began with a thorough in home consultation and caregiver support provided in the home setting. Eventually our father transitioned to a hospital setting where Parkwood Home Care continued to support his cognitive, emotional and physical needs which can be challenging in a hospital environment.
