Recommendedmy mom has been at Parkwood almost a year and second time in 4 years. I would highly recommend Parkwood. Even during this trying time with no visitors allocated in facility they are taking the time to FaceTime with my mom and family at least 2x / week to keep us connected.
The nurses to the management do everything to help you achieve your goals of every day living. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing nursing/assisted living needs.
My father was moved into skilled nursing from the hospital. This place is extremely neglectful. They would leave my father sitting in his feces and urine for hours. We would have to come up to the facility just to get them to change him. He arrived on a Thursday and did not receive a bath until the following Monday night after we said something. This was a horrible experience and I hope no other family has to experience what he have gone through.
I was at three facilities, Parkwood ranks highly above the other two. I got the best treatment here and received best therapy especially Sagel and Karen. I highly recommend Parkwood for people that really need some serious therapy. I am still here and intend to stay here until I am able to go home. The nurses and assistants are really good too. Everyone I have met here has been really friendly. This is the place to be if you must have inpatient therapy.

My stepmother has been in residence at Parkwood for three years now. She is in the skilled nursing wing. She is content, well cared for and loved. I drop in morning, afternoons, evenings and weekends and I always find a kind, dedicated and caring staff. Thank you for your love and care for a very precious member of our family.
My father spent 1 week out of the 3 weeks that was suggested here. He had double knee surgery and this place was beyond unprofessional, filthy and not the place to send your loved ones! The nurses were so rude to both my father (the patient) and my mother! The person who was supposed to be his roommate left within 24 hours because he couldn't stand it.
