Get directionsI came into the ER with tachycardia (more than 100 heartbeats per minute). After waiting 4.5 hours, I finally saw a doctor, who told me that he does not treat people with anxiety because he's seen too many teenagers who have overdosed on opioids. I am not a teenager--in fact, I'm close to 70--nor did I want an opioid medication. I told the doctor the name of another type of medication that helped me years ago. I gave him the generic and brand names. He said that he's never heard of it, and he said that I should take over-th... read more
Having waited four long months for my appointment with Dr. Boruff, I am extremely sorry to report that he was a horrible disappointment, shaming and blaming me for my primary medical issue, diabetes, which he claims on his physician profile is one of his primary clinical interests. I have no idea why others have said that he is a good listener. I did not find him so. In fact, I would have liked for him to look up from his computer screen once in a while and actually engage with me. He did not. Dr. Boruff fails to recognize t... read more
My highest rating for The Therapy Center in Crossville. The Staff was friendly and eager to help. Zelda is an excellent therapist and always had my best interest at heart. She pushed me when I needed it and was understanding when the pain was at times hard. I feel that my therapy regiment was superior and would highly recommend The Covenant Health Therapy Center to anyone needing rehabilitation from surgery!
Thank you Zelda and Loretta for taking me from a walker to walking with out assistance. For the encouragement and guidance, and making it enjoyable while we did it. Good JOB. Buddie Reagan
My husband was taken to Fort Sanders because of seizures. The neurological team who evaluated him said his MRI showed no tumors and he hadn't had a stroke. Pointing to the image on the MRI I said so when you see that how do you treat it. Their response was we typically don't see that. He was also in excruciating pain in his back that we continued to ask help with. Which they left untreated. They discharged him saying he could go back to work in a week and here is a follow up appointment in 7 weeks. His back had been ... read more
Just finished my 6 weeks of therapy at Covenant Health Therapy Center at LeConte Medical Center. So glad I choose them, my therapist Kay Funderburg was great. Although she urged me in the exercises, she was also considerate of my comfort, giving me time and option to rest when I needed to. my progress with Kay was consistent and I reached all my goals rather easily. I would most definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a therapist.
I was blessed to be treated by a wonderful doctor while I was in the emergency room and after I was admitted. Dr. Sarah Barrett was very thorough and she diagnosed my illness in a timely manner. She basically saved my life. Not only is she wonderful doctor, but she also has a great beside manner. She definitely is a blessing. Pamela
This is a horrible hospital and I have worked for three. I would rather die alone in the woods with the animals than ever step foot in this hospital. There is no accountability or transparency because it is owned by a corporation. First mistake. Sadly my husband was taken there the morning he died of cardiac arrest. Change of shift. No other people in the waiting room. No one ever told me what they thought happened. They would not do an autopsy becauae he was old and no evidence of foul play even though this was sudden and ... read more
My husband Len just completed several weeks of therapy to get him more stable. Zelda was his therapist. Zelda did a fantastic job of working with him on many different exercises at the facility and also to do at home. Zelda was always very pleasant, professional, and she has great people skills. Hated for his therapy to come to an end - will miss Zelda's smiling happy face. She is a 10 out of 10. Thank you Zelda!!!
