We were visiting Knoxville and my husband had an episode. He stopped breathing and his heart stopped. Thank goodness we had good samaritans around us who helped with CPR until the ambulance came. Once my husband‘s breathing returned to normal and he had a pretty good heart rate at the hospital they did a ton of tests on his brain, his heart all the major systems. They couldn’t figure out what had happened and told us to see a neurologist when we came back to Seattle. Which we did and it was determined my husband has severe e... read more
The best cardiologist and staff. I appreciate that he takes time to work with you and I dont have to drive to a big city for big city care!. I am truly blessed with such a talented doctor. I have been a patient of his for over 20 years.
Was referred to the ER after going to urgent care for severe poison ivy reaction. Nurse was great and friendly, but the doctor…. I felt like I was SUCH a bother to her with the small eye rolls and the way she “answered” our questions. I already don’t like to be a bother to anyone but I genuinely was/am desperate for help and it is their job afterall. I did not leave there feeling okay about being sent home. I did not get the answers I wanted but didn’t want to ask follow up questions because of the doctors persona and seemin... read more
I had neck pain from unknown reasons. Went to Oak Ridge ER on Monday Sept 9th around 6 pm. They immediately took me back after triage. Nurses and Dr was absolutely wonderful. The nurse drawing blood was a pro but my veins kept rolling from being dehydrated. She called another nurse in and boom got it in in a snap. Put the IV in as well so I would not have to be stuck again. Got a CT scan to make sure it wasn't an abscess. They gave me a bag of saline while I waited for results. I was out of the hospital in around three hours... read more
One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a hospital setting. They admitted me but my admission was unneccessary. We had one the NP gave a heart felt apology. She said this should have never happened.
My experience at the Cumberland Medical Emergency Room was easily the least stressful emergency room experience of my life. First of all, my wait to be seen was about two minutes. Then the surprise of a lifetime, no immediate need to change into a gown. The attendant who loaded my information into the computer system was delightful making it a pleasant exchange. The doctor came in shortly to assure me that I would be attended to promptly and then nurse Mariacarmen came in shortly thereafter to explain her orders from the ... read more
I came in today for a chest and Nasal Xray. Carrie was my technician and she was SO very sweet and made my experience fun!! I'd like to hang out with her ! Thank you Carrie ! Keep up the good work ! You turn an otherwise not so enjoyable appointment upside down.
I went to Morristown Hamblen hospital to get an ultrasound and biopsy. Needless to say, I was scared, but I was greeted by the three sweetest, warmest, gentle ladies who put me at ease made me feel very comfortable. Without them, I would have just been a wreck. I am so grateful too Aaliyah Munsey, Jensen Shell (Student tech), And Leah DeCesane For the wonderful care they gave me. And most importantly to Dr. Meadows who performed the biopsy, what a wonderful marvelous and funny doctor he is. He made me feel very comfortable.... read more
