What a Detroit treasure! The ribs were *amazing*, and the greens and mac and cheese were great. Super friendly place. And if you dine in you get real plates and silverware in the setting that hasn’t changed since Parks started in the 1960s. Detroit needs to hold on to gems like this!
I went to parks and got to half chickens and the sauce didn't go good on the chicken it taste better on ribs think i will stick to my no sauce zone. But the ribs be good.
My Mom was so very Happy that I had Surprised her with Her Parks BarBQ! I am not a fan fav of sauce. Although, I love the Atmosphere and food.
Being from out of town, I was told about this establishment and decided to check it out. The ribs were tender and good as well as the sauce. I like their side dishes of Mac and cheese and green beans. I'll be back the next time I visit Detroit.
Wonderful place! Mr. Parks and his staff are all amazing people. The food is to die for! Not only are the ribs perfect, the sides are a work of their own! I recommend this place to everyone who loves real BBQ. Make sure you stop here if you're in Detroit!
