I can’t say enough good things about my recent ER visit. From the moment I arrived, everyone listened to me and made sure I felt heard and cared for. They kept me a little longer to monitor my heart rate and blood pressure, which I really appreciated — it showed they truly cared about my well-being and didn’t rush me out the door. I have loved park ridge north for my un well father. It has been a god send when he has needed last minute care. However, Dr. Wharton was extremely unprofessional today with a young patient that I suggested go there after being unable to get in with her regular doctor. After telling her father not to bring her back because it was too expensive she should have went to physicians care, he proceeded to tell her she did not have a diagnoses but wrote that exact diagnosis on her discharge papers. Parkridge North is the best E.R. that I have ever been to. They always have a doctor there, which not all E.R.’s have a doctor tend to you personally. The front desk security is very kind. All of the nurses, phlebotomist’s and techs are very friendly, empathetic and helpful. You may not always be able to reach your primary care physician nor be to schedule an impromptu office visit. With that in mind, it certainly is nice to have a clean and welcoming hospital of this caliber. Above all else, it is greatly appreciated.

Any time you have to go to an ER, you start to dread the experience BUT if I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I ended up having to go yesterday due to a teledoc recommendation to go to an ER for possible blood clot. I drove in from Cleveland and was so happy I did. Staff was exceptional and thorough. I was able to get checked in, blood taken, ultrasound completed and out the door in less than 2 hours. I made the drive from Cleveland and I will use this facility every time.
