Stay away if you don't want to get ripped off. I went to the Parkland Emergency in Plaistow from a recommendation from my doctor. "they are a full service ER" he said. I had blood clots in the past and was having some similar symptoms. An emergency room would be the quickest way to diagnose. I went in, told them what was going on, got put in a room with the "tablet" to get my billing info. I’m now a day out from surgery at HCA Lake City in Lake City Florida. Initially I was very apprehensive about this hospital, and honestly the whole surgery thing, as I’m a little anti establishment when it comes to medicine, which is typically profit over care. My surgery was scheduled and it was explained to me that I would receive a call to schedule my post op appointment. My call came as promised. Honestly. The worst ER ever. Sure, they see you quickly.. but they don't care about you- they treat you like a number, not a person. And God forbid you're seen by Dr. STEINBERG. HE DID NOTHING FOR MY DAUGHTER, we went to Advent and she was diagnosed with pneumonia. He couldn't care less about her symptoms or her pain. Never go to HCA.
This is a review for the 3625 University Blvd S. Jacksonville Branch. If I could have given a zero, I most certainly would have!!! This hospital is a complete and utter joke!! It is in no way, shape, or form a hospital!!!! My brother was admitted from the ER on a Sunday afternoon at approx. 1pm by ambulance and the ambulance guys are the ones that got him settled in his bed. He is bad dr my leg never healed he told me was ok send me home just buy a bike and do exercise.After year and half another exelent dr diagnosed my leg never healed was still broken I was walking just with nails he put in my femur. I went through another surgery to fix damage He made. I will sue him. DO NOT TRUST HIM.

i went to the e.r.,had pain in my left leg and hip.......excellent care.....went back two days later for dark stool, was admitted...from wheelchair to bed was treated with the greatest care and respect... 2nd floor (211) staf 2/9-2-10 staff was right on.....over night staff was incredible....endo on 2-19 huge shout out....made me comfortable(even though I'm a little crazy after sleep med) huge thank you,,,,,,oakhill rocked !!!!!dr .Muhamed thank you
