As a physician - who speaks with neurosurgeons frequently in my Emergency Department and having undergone surgery by Dr. Babington - he is amazing. He is kind, compassionate, caring and takes the time To meet with you and family/friends and explains everything in great detail using laymans terms. Even as a physician I had him do this so I could discuss with my husband and still - he took the time to explain to my husband - again in non-medical terms. Amazing person, phenomenal Neurosurgeon.
Dr. Babington was very easy to talk to and I felt he truly listened to All of my concerns which bought me to him. He took the time to thoroughly review my xrays and MRI in a manner that was very clear. Not only did he explain it to me, but to my husband, as well. My surgery went very well and my recovery process was just as he explained, successful. I have recommended him to many people who are experiencing issues such as mine. Great Job Dr. Babs!!! Thank you, I'm at 100% now.
I came to DR. Babington thinking I was just going crazy and that the pain I was in could not be real my right leg I could not find any comfort in nor any strength in it I didn't know that this was because of the disks and all in my back being so bad with one of them stopping the fluild to my legs I would not be able to use my legs right now with out his help and would of been in a wheel chair with complete nerve damage He really was my blessing from the lord and I COULD NEVER THANK HIM ENOUGH !
First, I want to say thanks for the excellent quality of care and info about my condition and then correcting the issues with my neck and the support of your surgical team and the after care I've been receiving.. This man really cares about the patient and is the greatest.. Thanks Dr. Babington..
Dr. Babington was amazing. He was kind and compassionate and took the time to show me my MRI and describe everything to me. He made the entire process of my appointment and surgery as easy as it could possibly be. I strongly recommend him to anyone considering spine surgery in Hampton Roads.
