Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Babington was wonderful and we would highly recommend him!
Dr Babington is a skilled neurosurgeon and was always attentive to my questions and concerns. He explained everything well and never rushed through an appointment. His nurse is awesome, as well. I had an excellent experience before and after my surgery.
Considering any type of spinal surgery Dr. Babington is the neurosurgeon to go to in the Hampton Roads Area. Dr. Babington has operated on my neck and lower back with perfect outcomes.
I’ve had chronic back issues for years and over time the remedy would be rest, pain relievers, muscle relaxants, epidurals, and finally surgery. I have no more pain. Dr. Babington is thorough in his exam, diagnosis, treatment plan and surgery. I’m in PT now and gaining the strength I had lost over the years. I’m sure the end result will be fine.
I was greeted warmly by Dr. Babbington who continued to have an excellent bedside manor. He took time to discuss my condition with me and was not in a hurry. Since he did not have a answer for me on what caused my problems he offered to refer me to another doctor who might be able to help me. I would recommend him without reservation.

I would highly recommend Dr. Babington. He did an excellent on my back surgery, not many doctors will take on a 81 year old patient he was very interested in what I wanted for quality of life. He was very helpful in follow ups as well.
Dr. Babington was punctual and explained my mri results in a way that I understood where my pain is coming from. He quickly set in motion a procedure to help relieve my pain.
Technically excellent well trained neurosurgeon, professional, explained procedure and risks, honest in recommendation & outcomes — post surgery and recovery I felt like I was never injured. Of note - his administrative and clinical staff is excellent and responsive to my questions and appointment needs. Highly recommended! If you need surgery; this is who should do it....period.
