The atmosphere of the hotel is great. We walk a short distance from the train station and are greeted warmly by the front desk staff. The fireplace is nice in the winter. Take the quaint elevator at least once to go upstairs but we mostly use the stairs. The garden view from our balcony is great and relaxing for continental breakfast , reading or just relaxing. The front desk staff knows a lot about the area so just ask. The Winter Park Farmers Market is arou d the corner on Saturday morning's along with the historic museum.... read more
The staff are very friendly and helpful, but the noise from the train is awful!
Steps from Rollins College. Love the boutique feel of the hotel; this is my second stay in a little over a year. Free continental breakfast delivered to the room is a very nice touch. Bathrooms need serious updating. Walls are paper thin given the age of the hotel. Light sleepers will not appreciate close proximity of the train tracks. That said, I'd rather stay here than in some horrible chain hotel outside of Orlando.
