A very bad experience ever. I had a crack in an old filling. I read good reviews about Dr. Petrutsas and decided to go to him and ask him to check this filling and fix it. When I arrived there after filling out the paperwork, the hygienist took x-rays and then she examined my gums. She told me that my gums are in poor condition, and I need to do few sessions of "scaling and root planning" otherwise, I will start losing bone. I got a second opinion. Doctor said you don't require a scaling.

It was a horrible experience. Saw dentist for a filling a crown and inlay and they had nitrous turned up to high and had them turn down twice. I had to almost argue with the doctor to file down the work my bite was off. I then had my face swell that night and saw another dentist 2 days later since still swollen who said I had an infection. I was on antibiotics for 10 days and the dentist did not bother to call me. It is a month and I still can't eat on that side of my mouth. In pain daily.

Quality of work is very poor. Maybe all of the good reviews were done when he was better, but when I saw him, he relied heavily on an inexperienced (5 months) assistant to do some serious work. It did not turn out well. I will have to have the procedure re-done at my expense. Will not return to him.

From my very first visit, I had scheduling and billing problems with the front desk. That should have been my clue. But, I went back and had a crown put in. After a month it was still uncomfortable so they did some adjustments to it and removed some extra cement from the gums. I waited to see if it improved. After 2 months, I had sudden onset of severe pain. I gave up and went to another dentist who had to work for 2 hours removing excess cement. The cement had gone clear to the nerve.
