I would never recommend this place to anyone, even if I were paid to do so. Still bitter 6 years later about my experience here. I was not adequately prepared for how long my recovery would take, and when I was unable to read the charts on my post-op visits, Dr. Chynn decided that I couldn't read and altered my statements about what letters I saw so that his record was still intact. Originally, Dr. Chynn was very thoughtful and attentive about my eye situation. I saw him a numerous times. However, the last time he saw me, he was finished with me in five minutes, and didn't even look at my chart and didn't know I had cataract surgery in both eyes. I felt cheated and ripped out by a doctor who had asked me to give him an outstanding review on Yelp (which I did). Also his condescending manner to his other co-physicians doesn't make him or them look too good.

My LASEK was done in 2013 , I had been wearing glasses since the age of 6. AT the age of 47 giving bifocals for a year and having daily headaches, I took the step to have LASEK I first went to the largest medical institution that I work for had endless evaluations with different out comes of Yes then No then Maybe - I said I wouldn't trust you to do much I finally did my research and found Dr. Chynn and how much corrective LASEK surgery he did ! My experience was great! I did PRK and although the recovery time is longer they gave me all the things I needed to get through it smoothly. The only one thing that still bothers me is my vision at night. I still see star glaze and halos only when itâs dark outside after 9 months of the surgery. I hope it changes very soon.
