I am so glad I found out about Park Avenue Lasik! Everyone is so friendly and very honest with the procedure the price and the process. I just had my Lasek surgery last July 9.2021 and it is one of the best day of my life! I have mixed emotions about this place. I had my surgery done in 2017. What this place is lacking is attention to customers especially by the doctor as he is not giving it at all, accurate information and respect for patients. I came for a free consultation, it went well but as turned out later I was given some false information and this person was fired. The doctor doesnt seem to be interested in talking to patients at all as he barely talks and if he talks is so so low that you cant hear nor understand a thing. He is not l... read more
Poor customer service and speaks very loud.
Park Avenue Lasek is the best place to have Lasek surgery. The Surgeon, Dr. Chynn is the best surgeon in the town. He earned his MD from Columbia Medical School and did his Residency at the best place for ophthalmology, Harvard's Massachusetts Eye and Ear. The treatment is very thorough and very meticulous, Dr. Chynn expects you to do in detail every single instruction he put on the list. Please do carefully to get the best result. Jyst needed help with seeing up close which came out ok but my distance was ruined in the process. I'm very disappointed.
It took 2 procedures before my eyes were better and dealing with the office staff, including the doctor was a nightmare.
This place is a scam. I went there for a consultation and got a hard sell. They tried to prevent me from leaving until I agreed to schedule a surgery I didn't want. I sent a formal written letter asking them to stop bugging me, and I am still getting marketing emails over five years later, despite "unsubscribing" many times. AND, they do their surgeries in public view, i.e., anyone on the street can see through the storefront window. DO NOT GO THERE.
Great experience. 10 years later and still happy with my vision.
I got LASEK 10 years ago (with custom eye-mapping) and still see 20/20. It changed my life... Not having to wear contacts and being able to swim - and see!
