Great service, gumbo and fried shrimp! My family and I will definitely be back!
My husband and I have eaten here several times. The service and food is always excellent! Shrimp is better or as good as any I've had on the coast.

We celebrated my birthday here last night. We had great service and great oysters. We tried this place when it first opened and it was not very good. They have made a lot of changes since then so if you haven't been lately I recommend giving them another try. Each time we have been there the owner has come to the table to ask how we were doing and get feedback on our dining experience. We will definitely be going back.

We have always had excellent food and service! Sure, sometimes it gets busy and the food might take a little while. But isn't that what you want? Freshly prepared food? If you want quick seafood that isn't fresh, go to Red Lobster. We are very proud to have our own little slice of the gulf here in Trussville!

Shrimp scampi delish!!! Wine selection is limited, but the friendly, classy atmosphere will lure you back. If you like fresh raw oysters, search no more!!
My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary last night and let me tell you it was the best experience. They went out of there way to make it a extra special night for us also the food was out of this world. Everything we ordered from the oysters, fried mushrooms, seafood platter to the desert was over 5 stars.. We defiantly will be back...
I'm going to give a fair review here. I took my lady to this very clean and cozy environment. The raw oysters were really good. My lady loved what she ordered. I ordered the Gumbo which was the worst I've ever had. To be fair I make my own Gumbo and have a picky palette. The owner (I think) noticed I didn't finish my meal and went out of his way to make it right especially since I wasn't even going to mention I didn't like it. My wife and I have been working our way through the menu and everything so far has been wonderful! Especially enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits and the combo specialty oyster plate! Better more original than anything at Fish Market and if you like Captain D's don't go you won't like it. It's the real deal!
