I bought a used car from Chevy because I was looking for a reliable car for my 16 year old. I thought buying from a dealer like Chevy that I would do better than buying from an unknown. That was definitely not the case. In the six months after purchasing the car I have had to fix a water pump, a turbo injector, a head gasket, spark plugs, and a fuel pump. Left my house on Saturday morning going to Arkansas from my home in north west Texas. Truck transmission started acting up, made it to Paris dealership. Returning on Tuesday if truck was repaired. Made 3 phone calls on Monday to verify problem and fix.extended vacation and car rental another day.was told my truck was 100% repaired, showed up on Wednesday at 2:30 to pick up truck and return rental car. Making an appointment is a useless waste of everyone’s time. Arrived at my appointment time and watched them move my vehicle to the parking lot for 2 hours before they even started. Thought it was a rare occurrence but here I sit 9 HOURS AFTER DROPPING IT OFF TODAY and it is still not ready. I drove by 5 hours after I dropped it and it hadn’t been moved from where I left it. Why even have appointments?

Had oil changed in my 2019 GMC Acadia. Didn’t have to wait long. Waiting room very nice. Don’t know the gentleman’s name that serviced my car

PARIS GMC IS NOW THE ONLY DEALERSHIP WE BUY FROM. So, we always buy GMC brands. My wife’s dad retired from GM and growing up my family always preferred the General Motors lines. Regardless of brand, dealerships are hit and miss and more miss than hit. We live in the DFW metroplex and have not had good dealership experiences here. After doing my research, I went to the dealership closest to me whichever is Paris Chevrolet. Driving on the lot, before Imhad a chance to look, I was chased down by a salesman. The salesman knew more about what vehicle I needed than I did. He tried to talk me into something instead of letting me look awhile and then answer my questions. a new vehicle is a major purchase that I want to make sure is what I need, instead of being talked into the one the sales guy wanted to sell.
