Amerigas should be investigated for misleading customers on several levels and endangering the lives of it's customers. The company purchased small, local propane suppliers across the US and consolidated their services to district offices. They also consolidated the customer communication to large centralized call centers. Horrible since they started outsourcing calls to random people. I use to be able to call the local office and those ladies could always help me but I have called several times in the last 2 weeks trying to get a delivery, adjust my incorrect bill, and overall talk to someone who could actually help me right then and I still have 2 bills- one for a delivery that was never made and another that is incorrect and needs adjusted. Worst customer service ever. CSRs are taught to say what the customer wants to hear and not the truth. Ask for a supervisor and they don't want to transfer you up. Finally get transferred, and if you are lucky they won't hang up on you when they pick up. Then you finally get a supervisor after 4 calls they do the same thing and feed lines to you. Seven days later, still same thing. Got to love being stuck at home and out of gas so we can't even cook or heat. Our quarantine will be over by the time we get gas.

Can I give a zero? I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Been waiting 2 weeks for propane as they have "lost" the account (which is over 10 years old) twice in 12 days. Customer service is zero help.

I originally ordered propane delivery from Amerigas on Feb 3 and as of Feb 26 there has been no delivery. The propane tank read 20 at time of order and since that time it has gone down to unreadable (about 2). I have been using stove to supplement heat to save any propane left for use while stove is turned off at night. I have written emails and called with no results. Amerigas is totally undependable and should reimburse customers. Boycott

If i could give a zero i would. We ordered gas a month ago. It was not delivered until yesterday after weeks of promised delivery dates. Then they delivered to the wrong tank after i confirmed multiple times that it would be the correct order.we cancelled our order Wednesday and it was delivered yesterday, as I explained previously. So now we are stuck with their tank and overpriced gas which filled our tank. I have been talked down to, they raised their voice at me and hung up on me multiple times.

Amergas is the PITS.. The delivery service is criminal. They take forever to deliver and when you call each person gives you a different story, if they don't know they hang up on you .

Amerigas (here in Tucson) has done a complete turn-around in the last five years (and not for the better) since I have been a customer. As a result, I just switched to another local propane provider for the following reasons: 1) Amerigas had somewhat competitive pricing five years ago but now they are 52 PERCENT more per gallon than the provider I just switched to (that includes the rare price increase that my new provider just implemented in the last two months); 2) Amerigas customer service was previously local, I could co... read more
