I had a reservation at Calyspo in PCB. The unit was well stocked as far as dishes, cookware, etc. There were 5 in my party, and the unit was a 1 BR, 2 BA with hallway bunks and a sleeper sofa. I did not realize there was no ramp access to the beach. I did not use our beach cart because I did not want to have to carry it up or down the steps to and from the beach. I will also pay closer attention to the size of a complex. The beach was very crowded. Tower III, across the road in addition to Towers I and II seemed full or clos... read more

On May 22nd, 2022, we booked a vacation stay at the Calypso Tower Resort. Booking dates were June 13th -June 19th, 2022. The Deposit was paid on May 22nd in the amount of $1,313.76. The balance in the amount $2.116.38 was due & paid on May 24th, 2022. On June 12th, one of my travel companions tested positive for COVID-19, & another one was exposed to the virus. We immediately contacted ****** Support Ambassador, who confirmed that we were well within the COVID-19 Extenuating Circumstances Policy and would receive a full refu... read more

We are very sorry that you had an issue with the 3rd party cancellation policy. Panhandle Getaways, along with all 3rd party channels, have strict cancellation policies. We offer travel insurance for emergencies such as illness, named hurricanes, loss of job... etc. We hope that Ms. ******** will call us again In the future so we can work something out with her for funds collected.

i don't usually write a negative review on businesses BUT do not rent property from panhandle getaways. I cancelled my reservations and out of the $374 advanced payment, $49 was returned. The balance they said was non-refundable. I hope this helps renters in the future. ******

Avoid using this company, use 360 Blue or Lighthouse Vacations instead. We have been vacationing in Seaside for the last 7 years and have enjoyed staying at the Watercolor Inn & Resort or a private home in Seaside. We decided to use Panhandle Getaways for the first time, and we expected their customer service to be that of the Watercolor Inn, 360 Blue or a Disney Resort (considering the locale of the area). Needless to say, it was not. Lesson learned for our family, hopefully not for yours.

The 30a property management by panhandle was in turmoil to the point that I was going to terminate my owner contract this year.. Then Karen Clark was hired and took charge of my property and many others on 30A. Karen as the manager and Chris as the maintenance person were the stabilizing force of a chaotic situation and are working hard to turn the ship around. From check in to check out, this was a nightmare condo. Unit 3-906 Tower III at Calypso Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida. And employees and managers stated they know the building has problems. I don't know who personally owns this or other units in this new tower but I'd be asking for my money back and filing a lawsuit against whomever built it. Electrical issues in almost all of our rooms. If the breakers weren't knocking the GFCI outlet was having to be reset, a HVAC repairman had to replace a burnt out breaker f... read more

******* family 1808 Celadon resort was one nasty place I have ever stayed in.Starting off with dirty dishes in the dish washer,Bathtubs were dirty , none of the TVs were hooked up and working . Notice later on while my 2 year old was running around her feet were solid black like the floors were never mopped . Later we finally get settled just to fine fleas in the bed and dog hair .
