Golf vacationed at a Panhandle Getaways property in 2023. Loved the property and the golf. Booked ( on April 10th 2023 ) a 4 week stay for 2024 through a Panhandle getaways agent. ( 28 days). Sometime later we did add 7 more days to our stay ( 35 days). Went to book tee off times ( 7 days before rental began, March 18th 2024), and was told that any booking beyond 27 days is not eligible for free golf. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH FOR VACATION RENTALS!!! I rented a condo and THEY DID NOT CONTACT ME TO LET ME KNOW THERE WAS MAJOR CONSTRUCTION HAPPENING AT THIS COMPLEX. THERE WAS HAMMERING, SAWING, DUMPERSTER EVERYWHERE, LUMBER LAYING EVERYWHERE AND ALL THE PARKING WAS BEING USED BYTHE CONSTRCUTION COMPANY. We recently stayed at Panama City Beach, it was beautiful. However our booking agent "Panhandle Getaways" wasn't. About 2 weeks before arrival we were informed that they were painting our balcony, so we called and were told that ours was done. But it wasn't. So for 3 of our 4 weeks it was unusable, that was one of the reasons we took that condo. From talking to other guests, they knew almost a year in advance that this was going to be painted. I had a reservation at Calyspo in PCB. The unit was well stocked as far as dishes, cookware, etc. There were 5 in my party, and the unit was a 1 BR, 2 BA with hallway bunks and a sleeper sofa. I did not realize there was no ramp access to the beach. I did not use our beach cart because I did not want to have to carry it up or down the steps to and from the beach. Avoid using this company, use 360 Blue or Lighthouse Vacations instead. We have been vacationing in Seaside for the last 7 years and have enjoyed staying at the Watercolor Inn & Resort or a private home in Seaside. We decided to use Panhandle Getaways for the first time, and we expected their customer service to be that of the Watercolor Inn, 360 Blue or a Disney Resort (considering the locale of the area). Needless to say, it was not. Lesson learned for our family, hopefully not for yours.

The 30a property management by panhandle was in turmoil to the point that I was going to terminate my owner contract this year.. Then Karen Clark was hired and took charge of my property and many others on 30A. Karen as the manager and Chris as the maintenance person were the stabilizing force of a chaotic situation and are working hard to turn the ship around. I rented Sterling Reef 107 which was a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom with a large balcony and a private balcony off of the master bedroom. They put me in Sterling Reef 1401 without notifying me. It was an outdated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom with a small balcony. I would have understood if it was for maintenance, but they put other people in our unit. Theu said they have the right to do that. I rented the condo i wanted and would not have rented the condo they put me in.

Just returned from a girls trip in Panama City, stayed at Southwind unit B8. The size was perfect. The unit had everything we needed and was a perfect location even though we were not right on the beach. The owner is a wonderful lady and just placed her unit with Panhandle Rentals. We were late getting to check in due to be short staffed.
