I am 24 years old and I have worked with quite a few mental healthcare providers as a teen and into my 20s. I have been seeing Dr. Ruffer for about 4 years now, and in that amount of time I feel I have come a long way in how I deal with my depression and anxiety. She has seen me through relationships, job changes, and the loss of loved ones. Even during times when I have really struggled, even to get out of bed and make consistent appointments, she has never made me feel guilty or like I'm not doing enough. She works with me... read more
Pam is AMAZING and very easy to talk to. I have been dealing with everything in-between working fulltime and being a single mom that my anxiety and anger got the best of me and I hit my breaking point. She has taught me how to understand my feelings, coupe with situations, and turn negative thinking into positive thinking. I never really understood or believed in mental illness until it happened to me, but Pam has shined a light on reasons "why" these sort of things "trigger" anxiety and anger in us and it really makes you t... read more
Dr. Ruffer is a phenomenal therapist and has helped me navigate emotional trauma that I suffered in my upbringing leading to anger and anxiety that has given me difficulty in my personal and professional life. As a physician myself, I believe that Dr. Ruffer understands the particulars specific to a hospital environment due to her previous work experiences and would recommend her to any physician who is having difficulty in his or her home or work life.
Dr. Ruffer is very knowledgeable in her field and is a good listener. She really helped me overcome my issues and am doing better for it. I personally feel that she is very good in helping with behavioral problems.
I started seeing Dr. Ruffer in 2014 after the death of my significant other and . I can’t say that I would have gotten through losing him at the lowest point of my depression without her. She always explained everything to me and answered any questions I had even if I was calling her outside of hours. Being a teenager and then my early 20s she was always incredibly accommodating about payment when I was struggling. She was a literal life saver! I saw her for nearly 6 years and her number will always be in my phone!
I strongly recommend not to see her. she is in my net work provider but i ended up paying full amount of bill because she neglected claiming to my insurance company. She told me that bill was refused by insurance company but i found out that they never received claim from her. I was begging her to contact insurance company but she refused to do so. moreover, she gave me a short due date and threatened me to pay late fee if i did not pay up. she billed me only via text message and refused to provide me formal documents. I am ... read more
Dr. Ruffer helped me through a very difficult time in my life. If you want to look at things a little more rationally, still keeping your goals and dreams in mind but also mingled with fresh perspective, I would highly recommend her. She is clearly a caring person and a competent professional. It was a pleasure to interact with her.
Dr. Pamela Ruffer helped me minimize and alter the impact that early traumatic experiences were having on my life today. I have a good deal more peace and confidence now.
Speaking to Dr. pamela is like talking to a family member when you need guidance in life. She’s helped me see life in a different perspective with her tools and overall wisdom. An absolute recommend.
