What a magnificent park! Will surely go back and spend even more time!
We had an amazing time!! Our grandson enjoyed the experience and learned so much. We would love to bring our RV back and spend several days!

Beautiful place. The trails are clear and the road is smooth. I'll visit again.
Beautiful park when you need a fix of the Western colors and can't make it out to Arizona. Lots of hiking trails with various levels. RV camp area's were well maintained. Newer section on the Alt 5 route was very nice with large spots and clean bathhouse. Hamburgers at the Park restaurant were delicious also.
This was our first time. We hiked with it dogs. They loved it. Next time we will go alone so we can hike longer. We live only 30 minutes away.

I love Palo duro. I have been there twice now. Very beautiful and fun trails to walk. My one complaint is that parts of the map aren't labeled correctly (or hard to understand). My uncle and I were trying to find the big cave and the map was showing it in one spot and there was nothing labeled off the road... We walked around and finally gave up. Once we were driving away, we saw it. It was a lot further up the road than the map showed.
