Beautiful, the trip to the canyon was well worth it! The hike out to Lighthouse Rock was amazing, so much to see! The view from the rock?!?! Amazing!
My parents brought us kids when we we're little, we brought our kids and now we are bringing our grandkids. Beautiful place and the facilities improvements are wonderful!
I have a soft spot for the Canyon. I had a really good cheeseburger at the Trading Post, too. Always check out the wildlife feeders behind the Trading Post.
Worth the trip. It was beautiful and we enjoyed it very much.
I had a great time with my family. We had a wonderful time going along some of the trails and inside one of the caves. We also saw a lot of wildlife including deer and wild turkey!
Palo duro is an amazing place, love being in unmolested earth. Far from people. Seeing God's beauty.

This is a jewel of Texas. Spent two nights in the Canyon and it was amazing to see all the stars at night out there. Hiked the Lighthouse Trail on Saturday and what a treat. Cool weather, sunny skies and happy people made the experience so enjoyable. And the hoodoos - Lighthouse- at the end is spectacular. We even had the opportunity to witness a proposal at the Lighthouse! The park host was friendly and helpful. I loved seeing this beautiful part of my home state.
We love going out there. We try to go anytime the weather is good. Love the fact they had snow cones for us. Great prize and flavor. We will be back again next week.
