I was extremely surprised after a week "residing" at Palm Point. This was one of the most beneficial weeks of my lifetime. My days were spent learning something from every single staff member. Top notch Psychiatrists, Therapists, Nurses and MHT's. Physical environment was kept Spotless and well maintained. The meals and snacks were above average. Wasn’t impressed with iop. I was looking for dbt/cbt therapy and that’s what I thought this was when I first came in I had extreme anxiety and it was just a group therapy setting. I’ve already called and wrote a email that I wasn’t going to be attending anymore because it didn’t fit the criteria I needed. But doesn’t seem like the message got around to the iop department because they haven’t stopped calling me.

I felt very safe. Every professional employee there was supportive,helpful and kind towards me. They were all wonderful during a difficult time in my life. I came back stronger & better with all assistant thanks to there help

My loved one with SMI went to this facility. They had a signed consent to discuss care on file. After identifying myself and my desire to share pertinent information related to medication, therapy and interventions. I was hung up on twice it was between 18:15 and 18:30. After speaking to the house supervisor I was transferred to a patient care tech. This is not clinically appropriate and I did not feel comfortable, “nor should you” discussing the patients private health and medications. The patient health care tech does not ... read more
