I took my business elsewhere. This was recommended by a friend. The first couple of visits were good, I liked their stylist and hair cut. But the third time I was there, I waited 40 mts even though I had an appt, because they were attending to a wedding party. I waited and finally left without getting a hair cut. dirty This salon is the worst!!!! I walked in one day needing a haircut and had to wait almost 30 minutes becuase no one was even working there, and I had to wait for a stylist to finish their own client in order to take me. I was offered a bottle of water while I waited, but then the front desk girl laughed and informed me they were out so, 'sorry, there's a water fountain by the bathroom?'. Gross. very rude manager The positives of this salon are overshadowed by the very rude female daytime manager (Susan?). She seems to think that the high prices give her a right to act rudely to people, despite the fact she surely makes much less money than most of her customers. She needs to take a beginner course in customer service, and perhaps find a job where she doesn't work with the public. Other than her everyone else is top-notch.
Palazzolo's Spa Ped I did a walk in at Palazzolo's at the Fifth in Royal Oak Mi. and experienced one of the best spa pedicures ever. Patty palazzolo is amazing! she had me so relaxed i fell asleep. Her leg and foot massage is a dream come true! I was wrapped from head to toe in comfy pillows and blankets. palazzolo hair and new spa foot pedicure Palazzolo's is the best. I have been going to downtown royal oak to palazzolo.s since the early 90's. Julie my hairdresser is fantastic. whatever I want she does!!! I like eveyone there and they always treat me like im queen for the day. Great Place! This place is great. Kristin has cut my hair for 5 or 6 years now and although I don't always get my hair cut here she always does the best job. The best part about the place is that it is not as pretentious as 6 Salon. Kristin is great to talk to and also cuts my wife's hair and probably soon my sons.

Great Cuts- Ask for Lori! I have been going to Palazzolo's for over 6 years, and would never go anywhere else. However, what I am reviewing here is the stylist more than the salon-- anyone who is particular about his or her hair knows that it is the individual stylist that makes all the difference! Look at certain people, like Jennifer Aniston- people always talked about her hair, Rihanna- cute, stylish cut. I want people to know me. And most of all REMEMBER me. Of course its going to cost more than Fantastic Sam's or BoRics. You pay for the quality of the materials, the years of experience of your hair dresser, the creativity of your stylist, and YOUR LOOK.
