Food was prepared to order and ready in promised time. The Palace Potatoes were perfect, as were our sandwiches. We sat at the picnic tables adjacent to the restaurant and enjoyed a great lunch. This is an excellent way to meet friends during the quarantine.
The fried chicken sandwiches are THE BEST (and I'm from the south)! So crunchy and that jalapeno slaw is scruptious! Can't wait to get another one!
Great food and service. Palace potatoes were fantastic. Homemade hash was good. Coffee was a local blend and also great. Music playing was awesome.
Expensive for a small diner.
A must stop on your trip to Maine! Mug after mug of Tandem Coffee Roasters, a delicious, perfectly plated Omelette Du Jour and the crispiest, crunchiest breakfast potatoes a gal could ask for. Limited counter seating, but we showed up mid morning and had no problem finding a seat. We WILL return 😋
Best breakfast food in southern Maine. Worth the time, every time. Missing it so much.
Finally got seating one day to see what the fuss was all about. Wasn't too pleased by how small the menu was or how pricey the food was. Still gave it a shot. Got pancakes like I do everywhere else I go and they were COMPLETELY undercooked! If the server would've charged me the $11 for the undercooked pancakes I would've been even more pissed. Needless to say we won't be coming back here.
Seriously the best food ever. Friendly service, really cool setting. Usually a wait, but definitely worth the wait!
... greated like an old friend... best cheeseburger I've ever had. God bless
