Had the fried chicken sandwidge yesterday, was literally the best chicken sandwidge I ever had.
AWESOME tuna melt. Secret surprise is that it was loaded with their spicy sweet bread and butter pickles. Quite a bit pricey at $16+ for a sandwich and coffee but kinda worth it considering the place and the quality of the food.
Breakfast here yesterday with my best diner buddy. Housemade corned beef hash was the best I've ever had, and this girl has a seen a few plates. Eggs over easy (perfect), rye toast, little nubbin of kosher dill and a cup a joe. Bright service with a smile - will continue to gush about this place offline.
Fantastic food and service. Home fries are unbelievable. Very simple menu, but tasty. Not a lot of vegetarian or vegan options, but they do see fruit and granola.
Tuna melt was amazing. Maybe it was the delicious pickles, or how they don't heat the tuna 👍🏻
The Palace Diner has become a tradition every time we visit the Portland area. Food and service was amazing as usual.
