We stopped in for lunch. A chicken sandwhich, burger w/fries, and a coke was $30 plus tip. That's very high even though quality was above average.
Probably the best french toast I've ever had - wish I had gotten the double stack! (Made up for arriving too late for pancakes.) Companion cheddar-goat-onion omelette got high marks, as did the chicken sandwich (though a little heavy-handed with the salt on the chicken batter and potatoes - and I love salt). Friendly service, wait not too bad, cute up-and-coming Biddeford. Cash only! Note: comfort on the stools will depend on your leg length and it's a true diner - only a dozen or so seats, so cozy. Will definitely be back!
Breakfast with a flair! Hard to describe. Just get there.
Absolutely the best eggs I've ever had! The Palace Potatoes are amazing! If you get there early (like 5 minutes before they open) you don't have to wait. Palace Diner is certainly a hidden jem!
This is a fun history lesson with a fantastic breakfast ... one of two remaining Worcester built Pullmans seats 15 and serves up great culinary delights! Be sure to go early to avoid any wait.
