Dr. Fisher is amazing, he has given me years and years of relief from my back pain which is the only reason I put up and tolerate with his incompetent office staff. I have been a patient with Dr. Fishers for 12 years and I have seen so many countless front desk staff, receptionist, office managers come and go because they all have a general lack of care for their job or for the patients they're speaking with. The staff has problems communicating with each other. I had someone call me to confirm my appointment then someone else calling to tell me it wasn’t approved. Asked for a manager to contact me but never did. Then I got an automated call the day before my appointment to confirm that I’m going. Now the day of they’re telling me it’s not approved. I had to get driven to my appointment so I needed a driver. Now they called out of to work.
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Got referred here and it was the worst decision that ever happened. I had to repeatedly call them just to get an initial intake. They did not return the phone calls emails and it seems like every time I called it just went to voicemail. Finally after about four weeks I got somebody on the phone and the answer was oh sorry yeah we were gonna send that out, but I think there’s something wrong with your email, There wasn’t. This place is for sure the worst place to receive medical care in my life (I’m 62) I’ve had to wait over an hour multiple times after my appointment time and if you’re 11 minutes late (for any reason in my case, unforeseen traffic coming out of Ramona down to Poway in the morning) your sent away, Mind you there’s probably a dozen chairs in the waiting room and not one person sitting at any of them at my arrival.
