I had work done on my house by Kenneth Pacheco General Carpentry Inc. and the workmanship was poor. I signed a contract with him to remove approximately eight feet of damage sill plate to be removed and replaced. The price was $3,260.00. They only removed approximately four feet of the sill plate. They stopped right at the main beam, so it was a lot less work. I did complain, but he said I signed the contract for $ 3,260.00. He did take $240.00 off of the bill. This project was completed in 2015. Mr. ******* never once called to complain as noted in his Attorney General file. For some unknown reason Mr. ******* decided to start issuing bad reviews and complaints TWO years later. We did discount his bill to accommodate the smaller section of the sill plate that required replacement. Also the sill plate estimate was an approximation of 8' as we are unable to see through walls. We were very satisfied with the work done by all of the workers. They were efficient, polite, and did their utmost best on working on a home built in the 1850s. They informed us of their scheduled plans and agreed to all of our modifications. We were most impressed that a human answered our phone calls eliminating the need for a telephone-tag experience. Pacheco General Carpentry did an excellent job completely renovating a room. Room was gutted. New floors, walls, ceiling, radiators, half bath, recessed lighting, new doors, and all the little intricacies I would not have thought of. I have used Kenneth Pacheco General Carpentry several time now. Everything from installing a single window to a complete interior remodel. I am pretty particular when it comes to having work done on my house and I can say that Ken has excellent attention to detail and the carpenters that he has on staff are true craftsmen. Ken and his crew built my 2000+ square foot house in 2013. Ken was terrific to work with. He promptly answered our many questions and paid attention to our every need. His crew was great and their workmanship terrific. We so liked their work that we called them back to build our 24' x 26' detached two car garage last winter. Again, Ken and his crew were prompt and professional. We receive many compliments on our house and garage - all thanks to Ken and his crew.
