Food was good but the wait service left something to be desired. We were seated for at least 15 minutes before our server was interested in taking any information from us. He immediately asked if we were ready to order our meals. No eye contact. We hadn’t even had a chance to give a drink order. Either he was having a bad day or was annoyed that two people at our table were under 10. I was looking forward to eating at a Jose Andres restaurant for the first time.

I love Jose Andres and especially Jaleo. This restaurant was OK. The service was great, but I felt the food lacked a little flavor. My favorites were the guacamole, brussel sprouts, and salad. I did like the atmosphere. Not sure if I would go back.

The atmosphere is enchanting and ‘happy’. The bartender who took care of us was entertaining, knowledgeable and professional (sat there because we didn’t have a Sunday reservation, although am glad we did). Everything we ordered was excellent, although portions seemed a bit small. Their ocean salt bubble Margaritas are amazing! Can’t wait to go again.
