Owens Restaurant is one of our favorites on the OBX! Not only do we dine there regularly but our family has been celebrating special occasions with them for years. They catered my wedding almost 20 years years ago along with my 50th birthday party, my parents 50th anniversary and we continue to host our office Christmas party yearly! Great people, delicious food, and wonderful atmosphere. ❤️
My favorite restaurant on the Outer Banks hands down! We have lived here for 16 years and have spent many birthdays,anniversaries, date nights etc with the Owens family and they never disappoint. The food is always excellent and I always leave fully satisfied. When family comes to visit, this is where they ask to go and we can't wait to oblige!

We have eaten at Owens for over twenty years often twice a week and have enjoyed every meal. Love the wait staff and the family. No where else on the Outer Banks can you receive good service, an elegant atmosphere, fresh food, a cheese crock and his puppies as well as more food than you can possibly eat. I look forward to our quiet evenings relaxing and eating the day's specials. Thanks Peaches and Jim.

This restaurant is over-priced and way, way, way over-rated. Our "Lobster Bisque" was gelatinous, tasted of strong chicken broth and included dry, canned lobster. We should have asked for our check right after the soup but unfortunately we pressed on to the entrees. When the Pecan-encrusted scallops came out, I thought someone had ordered a plate of large meatballs in brown gravy!! Food was absolutely amazing in terms of taste; however, we are quite sure it was undercooked as it caused us violent stomach pain later that night. It's really a shame. The food was so good that we thought we would be making Owen's a mainstay at the OBX, but it doesn't matter how good food tastes when it ends up getting you sick due to undercooking, food poisoning, or whatever else caused it.
