the medical care is outstanding. the biggest down fall is ORTHO clerks that do the travel pay messes it up everytime. Do not except to get paid without an argument. I am over a month without being paid. Travel pay people say it's in the "Q" but nothing happens.
You have operators that violate my privacy. When I asked to speak with my doctor I have operator refuse to transfer me because she's probably busy. The staff picks and chooses who they want to help. I filed complaint about treatment and they withheld my insulin for two months this was never addressed when it happened then they said it was old just forget about it. A lot of the staff has no business working for the VA. The Chief of staff never returns calls the entire staff at Shreveport and Texarkana should be fired. I see a... read more

Answer all Phone calls and actually listen to the Veterans! But I do want to compliment and Thank Amanda with Co0mmunity Care. She is part of the surgery team. Today she reached out to me and for the first time since I made the mistake and registered at Overton Brooks, this lady was attentive and gave me real information I requested. It was a very pleasant experience and I will not forget her kindness!
