I had fallen off my bike several weeks ago and had a few injuries to my hand. I went to an urgent care prior to this visit and came to Overlook. And I expect to wait in an ER, but my end-to-end wait ended up being seven hours. It took several hours to do an x-ray. My father and I had a terrible experience at the Overlook Hospital ER on Oct 24 between 2:30–5 PM. The front desk nurse, Deyanna (spelling uncertain), was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She spoke to my father in a patronizing tone, cut him off while he was answering, and didn’t offer him a seat even though his blood pressure was high and nearly stumbling over her desk. George from the operating room was a light in a very stressful day. I came out of the hospital after an appointment with my baby and was very confused where I had parked (again very stressful day). After his long shift he took the time to walk around the parking garage and help me find my car. It was a small thing, but something I really needed and cannot express my gratitude enough.
