By far the best hospital. This hospital treats me like a person not a number or dollar sign. This is the only hospital I will go to. I don’t live close to this area but with my medical condition for me it’s worth the drive. This hospital has also been the only hospital that has been able to give me an IV with out missing my veins or rolling them. I went to the ER and asked for help and the nurse at reception told me she could not help me. My daughter asked me why I did not register in and I explained I could not make it up the stairs. My daughter went to get help and the same nurse began to ask my daughter without my consent questions about my health. To add insult to injuryshe made comments to my daughter that was inappropriate and judgmental, not mention she in front of me shared information with other nurses at the desk who also began to judge. This has been one of the most disappointing emergency room experiences I have ever encountered. My father, a cardiac patient, was exhibiting symptoms consistent with a heart attack, yet we were left waiting in the lobby before any action was taken. When an EKG was eventually performed, the nurse and staff demonstrated unprofessional and dismissive behavior. After being moved to the ECU room, no further care was provided.
