I am very sad to say I was in the ER over three weeks ago. I was seen very fast by the nice triage nurses.I was taken to bed number three because I was feeling so sick at my stomach and I was having sharp pain in my back along with vomiting . The Dr came in and told me they would be giving me IV fluids for my dehydration , blood work chest X-ray . I had an MRI done at Bellefonte on my injured ankle awhile back. The entire staff treated me with smiles, compassion and care. Dr. Love was my Orthopedic Doctor and he's first rate! I had a choice as to where I could go for this care and I'm glad I went to Our Lady of Bellefonte's Orthopedic group.
This is about the behavior center. You can get better care in 3rd world countries. Mental patients are in with jail dodging druggies. It would be cutting edge BACK IN THE 50s!!! It is run worse that the county jail. Given the choice between a week in jail or a week in this place i would chose jail. Dont send your loved one here!
Sat in the waiting room for 7 hr. Never got to see a doctor 4 people in front of us. Out of maybe 10 people.
I could not had asked for a better ER doc the night my father passed away. Dr. Spears was amazing, so were his nurses and the chaplain. God bless you ALL!!
Great hospital so much better then kings daughters! The staff actually care about the patients thank you to all the ER staff that took care of my 6 month old daughter today I will forever be greatful to all of you! GOD BLESS
The Emergency room is horrible! 6 hours for a blood test!
My neighbor, a smart, funny man of 90, was taken to Bellefonte's ER last night re: prostate and hemorrhoid isssues. Said all 19 ER beds were full of flu and fall patients the whole time he was there, that the staff was working long shifts, but all remained attentive, competent and, with him, good humored. (Told about his hemorrhoidal problems, he laughed and told the staff, "That's good. I thought I was growing another tail.". Best hospital east of Lexington, he said.
