While visiting Ironton, my mother fell. I took her to ER because she couldn’t walk and she had a horrible gash on her arm. After getting a room one of the nurses was hateful and unkind. Mom had to use the bathroom so I went and got the nurse who brought over a bed pan, she literally man handled my mother, not caring whatsoever about her leg. This hospital is awesome. I've been a patient there three times and the staff there treated me like I was part of their family. Thank you to all you guys.
I've never seen a hospital with a worse ER staff. No one is sincere or professional in the least. Even patients who arrive via ambulance are made to wait for hours before any treatment. The ER doctors there lack any bedside manner and a couple are nearly down right verbally abusive. I am absolutely appalled by the "care" received at Bellefonte.
Its horrible my husband had surgery there & kept having problems they all lied to us including the wound care he went to BC of them for 6 months he had colon cancer they left cancer cell inside of him & after 9 months it started growing out of his belly button he had 13hr surgery at UK hospital Dr Dineen & the good lord above saved his life he will always have stage 4 cancer its one in his liver; kidneys so you see why we hate Bellfonte Hospital. .
My daughter was on the peds floor n the nurses up there were so amazing with her. Thank you all for everything ! Even though my daughter was very sick this was the best experience i ever had in a hospital. You all are the best of the best � i will forever be greatful to you all :)
THE 5 STARS ARE FOR THE INPATIENT TEAM AND THOSE WHO RUN THE TESTING LIKE CT SCANS ETC. I WAS THERE FOR 2 DAYS HAD TO GET MY APPENIX REMOVED. ONCE CT SCAN SHOWED IT WAS BAD I WAS THEN DIRECTED TO THE ER DEPARTMENT TO FOLLOW STEPS TO BECOME INPATIENT. I HAD DR MULLINS HE CAME 1 TIME AND I NEVER SEEN HIM AGAIN. HE NEVER GAVE ME AN UPDATE OR ANYTHING. DR. MARTIN PERFORMED MY SURGERY AND DID A GREAT JOB. BUT YOUR ER DEPARTMENT IS NOT GOOD
The heart care Center doesn't allow children back in the examination room so God forbid you have a heart attack and you're not a hundred years old your kids can't go with you for your check up
